Hello after a long break. While it was nice to enjoy my laid back daily routine, I’m back to embracing an ambitious season. I’ll be sharing my thoughts and progress here with a singular, professional goal until mid-year: get to $1K MRR with digital products, which I would want to use, with less than a $1K budget.

While the constraints are arbitrary, they’re necessary to help take concrete steps towards the end goal. Having fun along the way is a non-negotiable.

When this year started out, I was seriously considering polishing off the old resume and looking for the next full-time gig. While I’m mostly recovered from the PTSD of a terrible workplace, I still couldn’t find any overlap between companies which are doing exciting work and roles where my resume would clearly stand out. Considering I still want to work remotely, and the predicted unpopularity of remote work policies, the only way to stand out would be to demonstrate the ability to get shit done. Even better, getting a LOT of ship done, preferably with AI tooling. If I make something that the free market appreciates, that would be a bonus.
